DESERT HAWKS
This setup is loosely based on the North African campaigns between the Luftwaffe/Regia Aeronatica and the Commonwealth units Including the Royal Airforce, the Royal Canadian Airforce, South African Airforce, and the Australian Air Force.
Ground units will aproximate what was in the theater at that time.

The rolling plane set will be accessed by advancement. The further you advance, the better equipment you get, but the closer you will get to the enemy's best equipment as well.

To integrate fuel management considerations, and make it more challenging to ferry forward the rear echelon aircraft, the fuel burn rate will be set to 2.5 which is greater than the MA fuel burn rate of 2.0

To increase the challenge, base capture will require 20 troops.
These numbers are subject to change throughout the week, if necessary.

Aircraft will be enabled at Vbases.

 :aok  Jimson!!!

Nicely planned and presented!!  Man  :pray if only the MA folks would consider this as an alternative to their "must have MY plane or nothing"  :old: mindset.

Still, working my odd hours, so probably will miss the fun here...... what's everyone else's excuse?   This setup is LOADED

Looks great!

Most times I visit AvA no-ones there.

GMT hours.

Will have a word with the CO of my squad.
See if we can't push it a bit

what's everyone else's excuse?

Mine is that everyone who flies in AvA is much better than me and I tire of being repeatedly, and rapidly, killed ;)

Not so!  You've killed me many times.

- oldman  (no glory there, everyone does it, but at least you've got someone to push around)

Popped a could days ago.  Wondering what the idea is behind the drastically reduced visibility?  I understand no icons.

Here's the secret nobody has let the MA blinded mindsetters, in on:

Here is a setup that allows you to single handed (no one else needed) move into the opponent's front.  By the time you do that, someone has logged in to see why there is 1 player in the AvA.  That player either joins in to help achieve the setup goal or tries his hand at stopping you.  In the process a third guy sees 2 players in the AvA and mistakes it for WW1 arena or Early war and ......now we have a full blown horde  :x

The truth being told 2 or 3 players in the AvA has always produced tons of fun for me (and yes, much more than in any of the other Arenas).

I don't remember why the tables were written that way. I went in and increased visibility but had no time to change sky colors

715,
apparently you and I are never on at the same time or you would have plenty of kills.
