Title: Attention: A challenge
Post by: earl1937 on November 14, 2014, 10:04:09 AM
:airplane: OK guys, the "challenge" has been laid on the table, battle lines are being drawn as you read this and if you want to get in on one of the "epic" battles in Aces High, you need to sign up for the "Winter Line over Europe" special event in January.
So far, the allied command team looks like this: myself as General, Dehawk as XO, Bigfoot as fighter group commander and Big rat.....I am working on a plan now, where the "bad" guys are boring holes in the sky, we will be devastating their bases with our bombers and heavy fighters. We will be units of the 15th Air Force, flying out of Corsica, attacking German and Italian bases in Italy. These will be high altitude bombing missions, (maybe 50 feet off the ground), and we will take no prisoners.
Each pilot will draw from base supply, a parachute(a1b's) with orange paneling, .45 cal pistol, electric suits and gloves, flak jackets and helmets, and will be briefed on "rescue" procedures so that if you do get shot down or have to bail, we ARE coming to get you in a C-47, or specially prepare TP-38E and you will return home. It will be escorted by at least 3 fighters of the 57th fighter/bomber group. If we can get you home, maybe the powers that be will allow your damage points and aircraft shot down to count!!
I am not having any of this "shooting bombers in a barrel" like some of these things, so sign up and help smack the Axis powers smack in the mouth! Bragging rights are hard to beat in this game!.

Yeah well...The Pope may be Allied, but Jesus was a German.  You're on!
