Really becomes part of your life huh...
Is it the difficulty that captivates you?
Is it the opportunity to appreciate an art form that encompasses history?
Could it even be the attraction of like-minded individuals together that forge life-long friendships and rivalaries that make this game worth every penny your $12.95-$14.95...
All I know is that all of the above is just the tip of the iceberg for myself and hopefully most of you' that appreciate this game for whatever it is personally worth...
I suppose the greatest thankyou to HTC is your continual subscription every month, but maybe just maybe a little positivity could go a long way for the folks at HTC and to players everywhere...
So yeah despite it meaning little in the long run but thank you for the thousands of hours of entertainment and opportunity to make the friends I've made over the last decade...
I have had very limited amount of time to play the last few tours and will probably still be this way for a while yet, but that little bit of time is enough to make everything just that much better. That alone reminds me how much the game and people I get to fly with mean to me and I truly appreciate it all...
I'll shaddup now (V) ( ^;;;^ ) (V)

You won't get to rub my belly... Don't care how many times you ask!
Ok... maybe a little... Just keep it above the belt...
Eh... Already defiled by Midway so no sanctity left down there so have at it...

Just when I think this game is starting to get stale, it finds new ways to keep me from becoming a productive member of society.

Well said - written.
This game/sim is the most fun without going outside or bothering my wife.
And HTC reply quickly and succinctly to any e-mails sent. Customer service without peer.
For the price of four coffees each month I am Douglas Bader.
Talk it up or turn it off.
Krabby - can you post a clearer picture of your crab friend? I tell people and the picture doesn't do justice to the fact.
Thanks in anticipation of that

I like the game because I get to try to outfly others in my favorite ride. The P47 is a solid middle of the road plane, so it's not great at anything in the LWMA setup. It doesn't have the snapshot killing abilities of canon planes. Doesn't have ubber speed or ubber climb. Doesn't have ubber turns and endless energy. I try to stay away from 'furballs' as they usually only serve as deflection shooting practice. I treasure the 1 on 1 and usually doesn't run from it, yet I hate 'Duelling DA', go figure.
The rest of the game 'boat guning, tanks, buffs, AAA', I love it. It's great great fun to 'just do something else'. And then there's the people, including the 200 cry babies and colorfull chest thumpers attention grabbers, which give yet an another thing to do in AH : try to catch them offguard.
Anyway, despite the flight model limitations and not feeling the P47 shoots 100 rounds a seconds, Hitech provides a fantastic/unique sandbox with anything for everyone.

Frenchy, I've seen a picture of you. That 47 pilot looks like you. Is that a relative of yours who flew in WW2 or are you one of those who have to compete because "There can only be One!"? This is where some Queen music queues in I think......

Bustr  that famous Highlander movie quote, I'm surprised you remember it from when you were one of us. It comes back from the early AH days when P47s were far from a comon sight in the MA, and mainly used as bomb trucks. I don't think it's out of competitiveness, but it was more like 'how dare you fly my plane and better not be to suicide run a hangar!' (think along the lines of 2 chicks wearing the same stuff at a party :lol).
I still do it to this day, it's stronger than me, I have to go mix it up with an another jug often against comon sense. I'm not famous enough in AH to be competitive, only a guy that loves his juggies and does what he can.
