Title: Henschel Hs 129
Post by: Slade on November 18, 2014, 07:56:14 PM
Please consider the Henschel Hs 129 for ground attack.

It passes all the usual requirements.  Over 800 made.  Saw combat etc..  One pilot even scored 80 Soviet tank kills in the Hs 129.

Looks like a lot of fun as ground attack!!!

If you thought the Me410 was a lumbering pig, well, think again.

But it makes up for it with a 75mm gun

Not really. Only very few Hs 129 were carrying the BK 7.5 and it was generally seen as a failure as the gun was simply too large for a plane that small. If we would get a model representative of the HS 129 line, it wouldn't be the Hs 129 B-3/Wa

B-3/Wa is the 75mm version, B-2/Wa was the BK 37 equipped version.
