I'll post back w/ my take on them later.

For the moment this works on the 900 series only......................... bummer.
So in light of this discovery I won't be upgrading to these drivers as there is no need for me since I'm using a GTX 780Ti vid card......................

Curious items are the "non-identical GPUs in SLI mode," which I did not know you could do. The TAG reporting tool of some games is reporting incorrectly because of a 32-bit limitation, which may tell us why the AH memory size tool is sometimes wrong? Not just an AH issue anyway. The "Prefer Maximum Performance" fix for poor SLI function in some games (AH is one where this works) is confirmed. Also, they provide an indication that the master GPU in an SLI configuration might not always be slot #1.
Pudgie It looks like they are just late getting your card updated, so maybe keep an eye on the Nvidia site.

The last 3 sets of Nvidia drivers released have caused me problems, and I've had to revert back. A lot if issues with how the 970s and 980s interact with Asus's ROG Swift monitor - the new drivers take away my 120 and 144hz options, as well as disable the Gsync with some of the releases. This is a known issue and only affects owners of certain Asus LCD monitors. Frustrating, but comes with using the newest stuff I guess...

Looking at the notes it appears they have dropped certain refresh rates on a permanent basis. So I have been forced to step down to a different resolution in order to record at 60Hz. It's not the first time that hardware didn't meet expectations.

It isn't so much a case of the hardware not meeting expectations as the drivers not doing so. The monitor can and has worked fine at 144hz for weeks, until the latest drivers came out, the last 3 have made 144hz either not work, or be problematic. Apparently the latest drivers if you set "use highest refresh rate possible" it WILL make 144hz work in game, but not on desktop, for now. So at least they are working on it.
Did you see anything regarding 144hz being dropped in those notes Chalenge? Do you have a link for this anywhere? I can't imagine them doing so after all the marketing around 144hz capable monitors like the Rog Swift, since it's sold out worldwide still to this day - something so popular being neutered in such a way would make a lot of angry customers, and cause a ton of returns, mine included, if they did so. What's the point of paying for 144hz if Nvidia takes it away?

What I was looking at is the official 343 driver notes (which includes the latest 344.75) at the Nvidia website, which only lists 144Hz as available at lower resolutions (1600 x 900 and below). At this link near the end of the document:
http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/344.75/344.75-win8-win7-winvista-desktop-release-notes.pdf
You can still hit 70, 72,75, 85, and 100 Hz at 1920 x 1200 (and so on) but not 144.

Never tried it with G-Sync or Displayport, but you might try the Custom Resolution Utility (http://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU). I use it to force any refresh rate I want to my video capture card.
