Title: BBS message preview window
Post by: Lab Rat 3947 on November 22, 2014, 07:05:03 PM: BBS preview post window does not open. It says fetching preview and nothing happens. Waited 10 minutes and gave up. Posted message anyway.
This just started 2 days ago.

Post by: ImADot on November 22, 2014, 07:09:33 PM: Are you using Internet Exploere? Did you update it lately? I have to run it in "compatibility mode" for certain things to work right.

By the way, I hit "preview" and it worked for me.

That's the limit for XP. Never had a problem until a few days ago. :headscratch:

Planning on a new puter with my tax refund. Already bought the OS - Win7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Post by: ImADot on November 23, 2014, 09:13:27 AM: You know, this isn't a bug with the game. It doesn't really belong in the game bug forum. It sounds like perhaps a recent update of the BBS software doesn't like to play nice with many browsers anymore.

Were you trying to reply to a thread with a really long title? The 80 character limit is for thread titles.
