I thought I would post this in case someone has overlooked the Individual Axis Calibration feature. This AH feature is especially well suited for pedals but could be used on a drifting axis on a joystick without total recalibration.
Just highlight the axis you want to calibrate then click on "Calibrate". The calibration is now ready for the single axis. This works well for pedal toe-brakes and rudder since sometimes the toe break or the rudders get actuated together when trying calibrate all axis on pedals.
One might also find this as a way to make sure you have a solid calibration although it would take longer.

You should do the regular AH calibration routine before doing the advanced calibration when calibrating in game.
