Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin.

This C.202 was one of sixteen that were transferred from LW training units to 2/Kro JGr 1 in 1944. This fighter squadron was manned by Croatian pilots but under Luftwaffe control and was tasked with defending the Croatian city of Zagreb from USAAF bombing raids. The Croatian pilots were not happy with their old, worn out fighters which in any case were hopelessly under-gunned for taking on US bombers. An inadequate early warning system meant they were rarely able to intercept the raids anyway. Not only that but the German command insisted they keep LW markings on their aircraft rather than Croatian ones. As a result morale in the unit was so bad that some pilots either flew their aircraft to Allied airfields to surrender or joined the Partisans.
