i think this is a strange post....why isnt this guy reporting on all the other ww2 vets...pilots or otherwise that have died recently?

Because the Tuskegee airmen were the definition of hero and yet the heroes that only wanted to be considered men in every sense of the word and deserve respect beyond that which anyone can ever truly imagine. You are likely well aware of this, well the facts anyway, and are either continuing to ignore facts or truly don't understand which would be incredibly sad.

 :salute to a most incredible and amazing group of warriors above and beyond any battlefield.

It is the way of things. But, as long as these salutes continue to go out to all WWII vets. The memories of these brave fellas live on inside of us.
