Title: Six years of FSO

I love FSO.  I've been flying them for 12 years and counting and as 2014 comes screaming to a close, I thought it would be interesting to see what I've flown over the last several years. 

The logs go back to 2009 ( Thanks, Nefarious,  for getting the rest of 2009 fixed!  ) so I extracted my log information for each frame and tallied the numbers.

So, here it is..  I don't proclaim to be the best at anything, in fact, this is probably the most fun being mediocre one could probably have.

I was really kinda surprised at the number of different rides.  Pretty much covering the gamut.

I wish I would have saved off the 2002 - 2008 stats from before.

Anyway, thanks to all the great pilots and squads I've had the honor/pleasure/notoriety of sharing Friday nights with over the last 12 years, The CM Team that keeps the cats herded, and, of course, HTC for this totally unique world we have . Here's to many more and Happy New Year!  :cheers:

Drone! <S> I will be adding as far as I can go back, but the process will take time.

I second all of Drone's comments, I am super interested in the numbers of it all and saved several years of FSO for the 412th Braunco Mustangs and the Friday Night Volunteer Group. A new program being developed by Swoop allowed me to compile all that data together and it is slowly coming together to tell the story of the 412th and all its pilots from its earliest accolades to the last frame of 2014 and beyond. Looking back at all that info, I am so proud of all my long time Volunteer pilots and I will be the first to brag about their exploits.

Glad to see Drone joining the ranks of the Volunteers and continuing such a prestigious FSO career with the World Famous Friday Nighters! <S>

Oh heck, why not.

Swoop actually began that program to assist me in the JG 11 Awards program but it has expanded now to include many other stats that we are enjoying as well.  Sharing the 11th All Time killboard here.  This is only active members and includes all FSO sorties from the very first time JG 11 flew in.  Thankfully I had the forsight to begin my records from Day 1, and these are complete and accurate, including all sorties of all types.  This particular board tracks Kills/Assists/Sorties only:  Another 1,871 kills have been registered by members who are now inactive and the JG 11 all time kills record remains with 'Hopper' at over 310 kills.

I was kinda hoping my post would spawn other squads showing their stuff. 

Congrats on having the foresight for saving the stats.. I thought I had some of them from the beginning, but they are probably buried in some obtuse naming convention backup folder I've long since lost.

Swoop is in the process of constructing a version for the 2015 Combat Challenge and has also built a copy for me.

I recorded several different years of 412th logs, then the old 412th website croaked which wasn't mine so it was all wiped, went a year not recording them and then fell behind. Started it up again this year and attempted to go back in time by hand until Swoop stepped in.  I was also in the process of compiling an all time, and I have started to re-build the FSO logs. If you would like to see them I am posting them into the Heavy Metal Log Section. As Drone mentioned, 2009 is now complete. I will be beginning 2008 soon and will be working backwards from there. The Private HTC logs look like they go back to 2004, FYI so this will take some time.

I've been doing this for KN/LTG for 3-4 yrs. I record sorties to include refuels and reups. I have some personal for my entire time in FSOs but I'm going to re-sync my data.
