I still wonder what sort of records Largent could have had on a different team, and always had a soft spot for Seahawks as a result. But I think they better enjoy it, not going to repeat, but maybe share in the Ravens fate...

Jeep, doesn't that photo warrant a facemask penalty?  The runner is ripping that other dude's helmet right off!  Where's the flag?

At least that would be a more legit call than the no-catch against Dallas today.  Refs seem to be making a lot of plays this year, wonder if they've got money down on someone?

I think the Colts and Hawks would be a good match up in the Super Bowl.

Brady, well he is old and feeble, easy for a defense like ours to rattle his cage...pocket passers are dead with Seahawks defense... and Bronk? That's their best player...hell we'd shut him down like a coal-fired power plant (Just ask Saint's Jimmy Graham who was held to one catch last year in the playoffs...he twice the TE that Bronk is)

We played Colts close last year and they won a close game in Indianapolis.  :rock

There is no doubt the Packers are going to win this.  My only hope is that there is a questionable call against the Seahawks so we can see the whines for years to come about how "we wuz robbed".

Packers 16

Seahawks 0

9 mins left in 2nd quarter

Seattle has 0 first downs.

Seattle has 11 total yards

Obviously, part of a subtle strategy.

You can't blame the whole result on the poor guy who missed the on-side kick.  That was just one bounce that went the wrong way for someone, yet there were many others throughout in the game.  In a close game, any key play during the whole game that went the other way is as important.

Unbelievable come back.

We have a great neighbor and he's developed into my best friend over the years.

We booked a room at his hotel (The Motif, a high end hotel in downtown 1 mile from the field) on Sat night so we didn't have to drive to the game on Sun morning.
He told me to cancel it and he'd take care of us.

When we left he said "Be sure to call me when you get checked into the room!" I thought that was weird....

Anyway, we arrive, and they put us in the Executive Suite, complete with a bottle of wine and CHEESE plate (LOL!) waiting as well as chocolates basket.

It didn't cost a dime! What a great friend!

Just hoping for a better showing than last night. Pats put on a clinic but it was painful to watch. Heck, Vince Wilfork had enough energy after the game to pull a woman from a rolled Jeep on his way home from tue game...

Colts strength of schedule before the season started was 32nd. The easiest. I wasn't shocked by the Pats win or the score.

Green bay came in with an excellent game plan and kept Russell on his heals all day long...except when it counted.

Green Bay had a very tough road too to the Championship game with a 13th ranked strength of schedule.

Pats had the 10th and Seattle 6th places for opponent strength so that tells me it's going to be a helluva super bowl!

New England enters the game with the 13th best defense, Seattle with #1.

Seattle comes in with the 9th best offense and New Englad with 11th.

Two very good teams, the cream has indeed risen to the top. Well, our team's cream has BEEN at the top, as defending super bowl champs.  :devil

What is beautiful this year as it was last season is the naysayers (Fans, Media, Peers) counting the Hawks out when we were 3-3. And again when they were 6-4 in Nov. Then they said "Seahawks have the toughest 6- game schedule to finish the season...will be lucky to make the playoffs". The Hawks went on a 6-0 rampage and held opponents to 6.5 points per game. Any questions? LOL!

This is the sort of media reporting this team FEEDS on. I hope we're an underdog in the Super Bowl just as we were last year (+2.5). This team of players that have been developed has a chip on their shoulders and they play much better as an underdog.

Last I heard, it was an even shot for either team betting wise. I don't follow it though. As to early season, there were many grumblings that Belichik and Brady had "seen better days" and it was time for a new guard.
And I will lime either team for the sin in this one. Though I am continually amazed Pete Carroll has done what he has with that team. He was a nightmare in New England. Tore it up with whatever college thiugh, USC I think? Good for him, he seems a decent sort.

As a faithful Seahawk "Ref" whiner, I feel it's appropriate to bring up the fact that pass interference should have been called on that last play of the game this past Sunday. Poor officating IMO.

Hooked his facemask, complete contact before the ball arrives.

Good on Jermaine for making that catch.
