Title: This is the AvA's year.
Post by: USRanger on February 01, 2015, 10:35:45 AM: I have huge plans to really set the arena apart this year. Some depends on getting the new terrain system, most falls on me and my fellow staffers. I've already worked years to make the AvA the "prettiest" arena, just wait til you see what's coming with the new system. Also, even though the AvA is not an "event arena", you all know we still hold them from time to time. This year we will be expanding on that to give players more of an arena that stands out from the rest. I'm very excited with the stuff that is planned. Too much to type here and don't want to spill the beans.

All I ask of you guys is to keep an eye on the AvA postings here in the forums. You'll see we plan to really go full throttle this year. :salute and thank you all.

It will really help your game and is the most realistic aspect of AH.

1. SA improvements.
2. Timing of ACM
3. Setting up attacks with no icons.
4. The bases are closer together for quick action
5. Plane match ups just like the real war.

This arena really is a lot of fun to battle in.

AVA is Axis VS Allies.... it has its own arena just below the Main arena. maps and setups are changed on a weekly basis. mostly historical, occasionally non-historical, but always 2 sided.

Thursday nights we offer tank fights only, no bombers no fighters....

we have jetweek 2X a year were its all jets, again 2 sided.....

we have so many different, fun and exciting setups, its impossible to go into them. you'd have to come in and see for yourself.

For sure but I definitely think it still needs to be Axis V Allies. The Spit9 vs 109g2 fight was great.

I will definitely start popping in there more to check it out and download the maps.

Yet.. a heads up. There will be finnish AH meeting at virrat 19. - 22.3. It would certainly be a perfect timing for such activity o karelia.

I'm sure we can set something like that up again. We have less members now so we might have to call some buddies of ours to take on the world of Aces High....JG11 would be my vote!!!
