It has become an epidemic...I won't rant about it, because anyone who would read this knows exactly what I'm saying.
I'm tired of the BS excuse of..."well there were spies in WW2"...yes there were, and when they were caught, they were executed.
The only reason I can think of that the obviously blatant shading (cheating) is being allowed is, that it's another $14.95 a month of revenue for AH.
It IS one of the reasons for the decreasing revenue for the game...our game...There!...I stated what everyone else is saying on range....Flame as you will...fed up

Nothing more to say......sad but so very true. Sad part is, everyone says its kids, but its not is the so called adults. My thing is, if you do this in a game, what is you life like? :salute

I think anyone giving advice on how to do something in a more mature and efficient manner isn't so much playing 'Gestapo' as wasting their valuable time, in this case.

I was wondering when the Gestapo would censor me....
During WW2 my uncles were kids, such as you appear to be now, and they had a hidden radio. The Gestapo would have shot them if they found it. I'm sure you're just as brave now as they were then. :rolleyes:

Yesterday my b24 raid was intercepted way behind our lines by 262s and a k4 im sure they had a spie :devil or they can see a DAR BAR *GASP* :O :lol
POTW regularly sends up 262 flights for long range sweeps. At 20k on 6500 rpm, you can fly forever at about 400IA. The K4 was one of our squad mates acting as a scout near a hot zone to vector us in for your bombers. Now this is if it was knights 262 that caught you. We caught a number of B24 flights last night. POTW values the reports of our squadmates and come to their aid or their directions to good eating at all times. Shade accounts for greifing the game more describe someone with a wee willy complex than anything else.

There are people with shades. One in particular was supposed to shut his account down. I guess his Achilles heel is following his word though... almost every one of these threads and the "we all know" and "anyone who reads this" are completely full of it. Sorry, but your mission didn't fail because of spies. It probably failed to incompetence.

I have never said this on range. I have but one account. Therefore "everyone" is obviously inaccurate, along with those not saying it own a shade account.
Since I have flown around a bunch of people whom I have not heard say this, that seems to mean no one is saying it, using a sweeping generalization.
It's a game. I cannot think of one time someone else ruined it for me. Well, except pipz. You think I would just stop pullig his finger by now..

How is dwindling numbers proof of more shades? Do you even see the inherent contradiction in this?

Multiple family members? Friends who don't have their own cc?
Plenty of reasons to have more than one account that have no relation to cheating or shading.

Gorf, you really dont make much sense. No one is denying that there are lower numbers these days, but there is no evidence that people are leaving because of Shades. Your argument is based on a totally unprovable assumption by YOU.

Not that I like that dude but he is not a paid employee of HTC. CM Staff, Skinner Team, AvA Staff, Trainers, are all volunteer positions. HTC has the final say on game matters. I get they do represent the company in a respect but your only recourse in spite of your frustrations is to email HTC. You aren't the first to vent so don't get too bogged down with the back and forth on here. It won't get you any satisfaction. :salute

No...like I stated in my OP...it has always been there....but it has become blatantly in your face obvious, and a lot of folks are talking about it.
And equally as obvious, the powers that be don't care.
Regardless of what some have posted here, look at the first page of this thread...mostly positive, then, the attacks begin, which is fine, it's the internet.
My point is that this is why no one is speaking up about these things, they don't want to be muted or banned from posting or flamed, etc.
I don't care about all that, I have big shoulders.
I love AH, but am deleting my account today, not in 2 weeks, screw it, keep the difference.
If you don't want to listen to your paying customers, then fine, buh-bye.

As soon as I have the chance to buy my next pc I will start a 2nd account. This account will be used on the same country as my primary account as a constant start runner or 29 on standby at at for whatever is needed. I could care less if someone shades or not.
I think the question is why are we talking about this?

fortunately the limits to multiple account sin AH are reserved to intel. in lesser more mainstream MMO's what seems to be treated as a valid game tactic of multiboxing is epidemic.
fortunately the value of this tactic once the battle is started is nonexistant in a sim like this where actual skill matters.

That is unfortunately what it comes down to. One guy flies over 200 feet and a momentary blip is all it takes... Once a base starts flashing is plenty of time to up against a large noe raid and stop it. If you pay attention to the map they're easy to spot.
I've listened to the rantings of Rox for years, gorf seems like he's in a like minded group who all think the only way someone upped to stop them was spying. While this does happen, it's the exception not the norm.
Is Achilles account still active for that matter?

I guess the guys who make B lines to enemy CV locations in the middle of no where on some maps would be an example. I don't think it has a huge impact on game play however.

CV hunting is the only thing that is a legitimate gripe about shades. Everything else, if your goon/mission plan doesn't account for enemy finding you, your plan sucks and deserves to fail.

Intresting point =) Someone could have all the intel in the world but they still need the skill to come kill someone else...and its not like that person can't see them coming from 6k away..

Remember a few years ago when it was trendy to park the CVs in the far corners of the map? If these alleged "shades" are sinking them before they can be "saved," I say these "shades" are doing a damn fine job.
