Im looking to find some info on real aces that went head to head.
My idea is a fore arm sleeve. Have the nose/cockpits of each aircraft and have the aircraft/pilot who lost the fight be all shot up and the pilots head a skull, symbolizing he is dead.
But it would be cool to use some historical figures and accurate aircraft markings and nose art.
WW1 OR WW2

On your other arm you could tattoo the words "Unemployable".

Except for the fact that im an electrician working for the fed, and have no regulations against getting tattoos. So no, not really... I am employed, and planning on staying till retirement.
Thanks for bump tho.

I'll see what I can dig up but in WWII few aces went head to head. You're more likely to get that in WWI.
-
The two that spring to mind:
Adolf 'Sailor' Malan vs Werner Molders.
Saburo Sakai vs Pug Sutherland
-
No skull to be had in the Milan-Molders mix.

Nor the Sakai-Sutherland fight, though Sutherland was shot down he did survive.
Thought of another:
George Beurling vs Furio Niclot Doglio
George Beurling vs Francesco Pecchiari
George Beurling vs Carlo Seganti
In all three cases the Italian aces perished.

I started a zero vs P40 half sleeve....

Otto Shults VS Ernest Mason, Otto shults' 40th kill

That's crazy. Everyone know that one goes on your forehead.

That's crazy. Everyone know that one goes on your neck.
Corrected that for you.

John Dundas Spitfire I vs Helmut Wick 109E. Dundas got Wick. Wicks wingman got Dundas.
Terry Spencer Spit XII v Bully Lang 190A8. Spencer got Lang
Wasn't the Japanese pilot involved the the fight where Tommy McGuire spun in an Ace?

You should get a tattoo that says I make bad decisions. Oh wait, that's what all tattoos say :D
-
Surely von Richthofen - Hawker is the best known, though I find the whole thing ghoulish.

opinions.....
tattoos are a time saver...
they allow me to not get to know people who are judgmental aholes....
the only difference between tattooed and non tattooed people...
tattooed people don't care if you are not tattooed.
and last, my own.....
tattoos are an outward expression of ones inner self....

When I first read this, I thought the OP was a bit out there with this idea, but after thinking about it a while, not being a tattoo person really, I think it's as good an idea as anything else. It should be something you like, a subject you enjoy, it doesn't have to (though it can) be a showy thing to impress the girls IMO.
Buzz Beurling is one of my favorite subjects, IMO the best shot on the allied side in the war, and in anyone's top 5 overall. That said, he was a cold person, and worse he looked like a starving Iggy Pop, so maybe not the best subject for a tat. Sakai vs Pug on the other hand - a samurai/zero motif fighting a blue Navy/Mascot/Goat/Bulldog/F4F type deal. Or a Tuck vs Galland classic Spit vs 109 tat would be interesting as well.
Cudos any which way for the post, I've spent the day reading about one on one encounters throughout history of air warfare online, some pretty interesting stuff out there.
Of course, even when you explain it to people, most won't know what you're talking about - "the second world war air war, that thing that was on CNN right??" sort of response, but again, if it's something just for yourself, that shouldn't matter.
