Title: La7 B20 Gun Placements

The la7's b20 guns are placed well inside the plane. Were the russian developers trying to go for a somewhat symmetrical placement for them, specifically the center gun mount?

Clearly nobody understands the question. I dont see anything unusual in guns placement in LA.

They are off set due to the profile of the Ash 82 FN. Its routing of exhausts from the right hand valve set of each cylinder, the profile of the inlet and outlet valve gear caps and the location of the supercharger.

Thirteen page manual online. Page 10 has excellent diagrams of the engine and why the B20 are all mounted at the top of the deck. No place else to mount the guns.
