Title: Home Network Ban
Post by: glzsqd on March 12, 2015, 11:29:06 AM
I was suspended from the forum at the beginning of January for four weeks for violations of rules #4 and #6 if I remember correctly. My account suspension has since been lifted but it seems that there is still a suspension on my  home network's IP address. Whenever I try to get into the forum from my home network  get "You have been Suspended from these boards. Use of Open Proxies is not allowed. Suspension is not set to expire" I have never used any "Open Proxies" to access the boards.

I can access the boards just fine from every device until they are connected to my home network.

Use one of your devices to call skuzzy. The number is on the Web page under contact.

Who is your Internet Service Provider?  Are you sure your computer is not using any type of VPN service?

Provider is Optimum.

As far as I know it doesn't use any VPN services.

According to the IP logs, you are not coming from Optimum.  There is a virus/bot running loose on the Internet which will hijack your Internet connection and redirect it through another network for the purposes of gathering passwords, credit/debit card numbers and so on as they travel between your computer and the remote computer.
If you are sure you are not running a VPN, then you might want to look at that.

Might be Verizon. We use one for the business and the other for the house hold. If i gave you my Home Network IP address would that help?

I don't think its a virus redirecting me because I've since wiped the computer clean via clean install of windows. I run into this problem on all my devices as well.

A virus in your modem is also possible.

Wouldn't pingplotter show if you're being redirected?
