At times on the forums, we see our higher ups like Skuzzy, Hitech, Waffle, Hop, and even Rosie on occasion(w/exception to Skuzzy to help w/tech-saavy things). But how come we don't see others like Superfly, Pyro, Sudz, Natedog and co. often? Not even for a simple meet and greet anymore?

I think Pyro left, didn't he?

It could be that they are working and their job doesn't involve the BBS. I'm sure Skuzzy wished HIS job didn't involve the BBS, and Im sure the error that got him assigned would make one heck of a story. :devil

I think it's partly because of they 4 you mentioned, a couple either aren't at HTC any longer (I think), or are working in a diminished capacity, while focusing on other projects.
Back in the first beta days, all the above, at least those who were with HTC then, posted quite often, and were very active in the Main Arena as well on the old Channel 1 - whenever that bold blue lettering accompanying one of the HTC employees said something, channel 1 would explode with questions, and often cheers when a new feature was being implemented - the old "reboot in 10 minutes" words would typically be met with happy retorts.
It was a much different time.
So far as -'m sure Skuzzy wished HIS job didn't involve the BBS, and Im sure the error that got him assigned would make one heck of a story.
. The very first interaction I had with Skuzzy he said "how would you like to have to try and manage this place". Who really would I wonder.
Anyhow, I'm betting once the new version rolls into some sort of playable beta experience or whatever, there will be a lot more of the "old days" type of interaction by not just necessity I hope, but also desire from HTC.

Sudz would ban us all... :old:
-
Some of them have stopped working for HTC years ago... ;)
-
There's only 5 of them on the about us page.
The HTC Team
Dale "Hitech" Addink
CEO
Doug "Pyro" Balmos
Simulation Specialist
Carrie "Rosie" Brooks
Business Administration
Dan "Waffle" Greve
Art Director
Roy "Skuzzy" Neese
Network Administrator/Community Manager/Technical Support
They should probably add Hop to that now.

I remember those days, and the light blue messages from Hitech when he'd pop into the arena and answer questions. That was a great way to interact with the user base, IMO.
