can someone help me here and explain what I did wrong?
I have been flying in AH for over 10 years off and on,. mostly on...
I have never seen this amazing fighting style before.....
I thought I knew how to fight...I see by this absolutely amazing fighter skills demonstrated here by my opponent I have a lot to learn.....

I am beyond amazed! This is one of the most unique fighting styles I've ever witnessed! It does kind of remind me of a guy called _Shadow_ from Fighter Ace, though. He was my FPH in that game...............................NOT!!!!!!!!

I will hop in here. I hope my comments are taken as intended and that people treat them objectively. Given that I am in the Damned that may be a forlorn hope but here goes.
I was there that day. I know what was going on from my side of the fence.
INK - what is your perception of what was happening? You do not say anything but appear to imply Skyyr was running. That is not what I see in the film.
Sure - he was not turn fighting but that would have been suicide. All pilots who know their planes know that. Now, given that suicide is not the best option, what is option 2? Manoeuvre for position. That is what I see here.
Look at the film. At no point does he hit the deck and run. In fact he keeps you at a controlled distance whilst climbing to put himself in a position of advantage. Look at the speeds reported in the film. Pretty low for someone who is running. It may not be your preferred style of play but there are several ways to skin a cat.
Had you not bailed when you did the fight would have developed. However, you had already been killed several times by this player that night and I think anger / frustration got the better of you.
I think it is worth remembering that the MA is a melting pot of different planes with different attributes at different altitudes and with different agendas. Some on fighter sweeps, some Jabo. Some can turn better , climb better, hit harder....etc. etc.
In this instance your opponent chose to not engage within the envelope of your plane's abilities and instead try to turn the fight to use the strengths of his plane. I think that is normal behaviour.
The only place this should never happen is of course in an arranged duel in the DA with defined rules. We already know you refuse to engage Skyyr in the DA as you will not waste your time on him, yet you are willing to come onto the boards and do just that.

You were offered a chance to fight in the DA from an even, same plane, same alt/co-E match. When you refuse to accept a DA match 1v1, you have no right to complain about your deaths in the MA because you "couldn't get the advantage."

I suspect rather than me declining, I simply had better things to do than acknowledge someone trying to defend his overinflated ego. Make no mistake, you're not important enough for me to delay landing to respond to a passive aggressive message received on 200.

I'm not even sure why you would bring up overall rank. I only fly and compete for fighter rank, sir. I couldn't care less about someone's skill at blowing up ground targets or flying bombers. Never have and likely never will.

The difference between you and the others who are well thought of by pretty much the WHOLE AH community; Ink, Redbull, Latrobe etc, etc, is that they actively divert praise and accolades away from themselves as opposed to you, who actively seek it out by posting look at me threads, or try to make it seem that a player is "new" so that you can get more of the look at me. You may have some skills, but they are all negated by your offensive attitude.

The challenge stands... find a post where we say we are the best in this game? I don't why you keep bringing up overall rank add if that proves you are a better fighter pilot than anyone. We don't GV, very rarely bomb.

You keep suggesting that by posting videos that somehow forces you to watch them. If you did you would see some Mulitple vs 1 , people starting dead 6 and getting reversed, and while you might not agree with the method that it was done it was still done, but if it's so easy you shouldn't have a problem fighting me or any other Damned.
