When a plane gets shot down over land and/or crashes into the ground, there could be a pileup or something of the victimized fighters/bombers plane upon destruction. Maybe a plume of fire or smoke depending on fuel loadouts can be put in for the new engine too, if it can handle it.

a vulch field would soon have a mountain of burnt planes on the runway. and dont let me get started on 135. within 10 minutes hundreds of dead tanks all over the place.

smoke is one of the most intense resource hog there is.....
and each one of those crashed planes needs to be tracked by every one that happens to be near by....
for a game like Aces high with the amount of people that are in one arena.....the CPU usage that it already takes...I don't see anytime soon getting a realistic smoke and debris...
I agree it would be awesome.....

All these ideas you post would be great, but you have to look at the cost.
Adding a new plane could take up to 6 months easily, if that was all they were working on.
Adding a new GV is quicker because they don't have to build out an interior, but it is still many months for one if that is all they work on.
Adding smoke, debris, bits and pieces and/or weather adds to the load on your computer. If the game is "just" playable on your computer/laptop with say 30 frame per second, adding plums of smoke rising over each piece of junk will pull frames away from everything else. Fly over a base and check your FPS, then go back and blow everything up and check it again with the smoke we do have and you will see what I mean. If you have a weak/below average computer by suggesting this add-on you have knocked your self out of the game until you can upgrade your computer!
Also, use the search on the BBS. You will find many of these things have been asked for before and some even have answers as to why they won't do it, or will.
