Title: P-40C
Post by: bj229r on March 20, 2015, 10:42:50 PM
In FSO on climbout, 75% gas, drop. Get booted. I recycle my internet, come back in, it puts me back in flight, (COOL!) After a bit, I'm pondering getting rid of my drop, and look at time remaining---19 minutes. (Odd, ought be over an hour) I SEE the external is still half full, I check the other internal tanks...there are none. (note, this is a bad time to drop the external) I hit shift F repeatedly, my external flips between yellow and white, no other tanks. Soo.....I drop the external to see what happens. Picture Enterprise sans warp core...no, because they still had impulse power. Anyhow, I glide in, couldnt make rearm pad. At this point, I manually kill internet, come back, get put back in flight...of course I'm still on the runway, sans gas... :headscratch:

Was it unique to the plane?

No,  it is the same in all planes.

I haven't encountered this problem with any other plane in game. Seems that the P40C is the only Aircraft who's internal fuel tanks are drained after a disco.

I never encountered it in the P38 series, it certainly isn't a consistent issue like it is in the P40C

This bug still isn't fixed...........

I don't understand why the P40C is the only plane that does this.
