I have a fair amount of difficulty sending check 6 calls to the right player, especially in congested areas. Would it be possible to implement a feature allowing a player to double click on the icon of a friendly to send a check 6?

Except when the channel's busy. I could see it being useful. I always vox them anyways, but that's just me.

think about it you are flying an airplane in middle of combat, you really think many people would move their hand to use a mouse to point and click? most of use have the check six mapped to a button on stick and quickly use it. I just see the 2 or 3 seconds wasted using a mouse as delaying actually giving a check six. remember most check sixes are only given at the last resort and you need to move fast.

Not a replacement for anything, just in addition to what's already there. Why not?
Thumbstick and trackIR could probably get it on him quick too.

Semp,
Any new thingy is a good idea until it's a bad idea and gets ignored. The wish has nothing to do with the reality of what happens in a furball. It's a new thingy........ :O
How many years ago did Hitech stop trying to explain why every new thingy was not a good thingy......

Definitely. But if there is a lot of voice traffic, the check six button gets the message out without further congestion.
I can see the value. But I also see the difficulty of having to grab the mouse. But it could be useful to someone in a manned gun, or a tank, or PT boat.
