Title: Just for something different, a cylinder count game
Post by: Rondar on March 27, 2015, 06:09:49 PM
Lets try a cylinder game.  Count the number of cylinders you own.

BMW 328                    6 cylinders
Honda Odyssey            6
Kawasaki Vulcan           2
ZTR Mower                   2
Snow blower                  1
Generator                     1
Power rake                    1
Chainsaw                       1
Push mower                   1

So I have 21 cylinders to take care of, so to speak.

I hope you mean a blower.

A power rake, has a bunch of tines that rotate to dethatch and dig up old dead grass, etc.  Bu then you have to go back over it with a lawn mower with a grass bag or manually rake up all that it dug out.  Its good for your lawn to do this once in a while.  You can rent these things also.  Mine is about 30 years old, my dad gave it to me about 5 years ago.

Can you tell us a little something about your RC planes?

I go to our local annual RC show, always a blast.  But not really sure if I want to drop a couple of grand on a decent entry level plane.

it is only as expensive as you want it to get.  I have a couple foamies that were less than 400 ready to fly.
your basic trainer http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCNSW&P=0  they are relatively inexpensive. I learned to fly on a j3 cub, handles well, slow and steady flier, and learned to deal with tail draggers as I like WWII planes  :)
