We have submarines moored at all ports. No one has figured out how to get inside of them.

And I guarantee that after 5 minutes of sailing at 6 knots underwater you're going to quit and go back to other things in AH.

Oh?  You guys forget that HiTech intends to add submarines into the game?  How do you counter that little fact? :)


I am curious to HOW HiTech is going to get them to work though. :headscratch:  With current AH, it won't work.  No arguments there.  But, with the new AH that's coming, I get the feeling we are getting closer to this.  It might actually happen with this upcoming engine, or it may come in another engine.  Only HTC can really say. :aok

Bare in mind I don't care if HTC adds subs, in fact I'd love to fly seaplanes in anti-submarine warfare. My issue is people seem to have this idea that subs are going to be some elite force that are going to be sinking CVs all the time which is not going to happen. Most WW2 subs running on the surface won't even do 20 knots and most will do less then 7 knots when submerged, our CV fleets do 30 knots.

All I'm sayings people that want subs are setting themselves up for disappointment.
