I just read this “Vintage Wings of Canada” article.  It includes photos and a color print. I think it would make a neat skin.

Thanks Goaly, great scheme and a great story.

I'll skin that for you if you like. Not sure whether to do it as a Mk IX or Mk XVI though. The photos show aircraft with the standard wingtips like our IX, but the same armament and rudder as our XVI.

Dohhh! Caught me hook line and sinker. Salute to the hoaxer, some amazingly detailed Photoshopping and story telling went into that.
