Title: Hope someone can help.
Post by: Schen on April 12, 2015, 08:19:34 PM
Very computer illiterate.

Game boots fine. But when I load into any arena the game goes fuzzy. Then it looks like all the letters a not clean lines. Also all gages in aircraft are fuzzy. I just got this pc its an i5  with 8 gb of ram, nvidea gtx 650 graphics card. Game is at 60fps but I can't seem to find any adjustment that cleared up the fuzzy lines.

Hope someone has an idea.

what is your texture set at? This is set on the opening page where the button to login is on, click the "video settings" button. texture size is set here as well as anti-alison. the higher the anti-allison is set the blurring the edges will seem. Also the text gets blurry as your texture size goes up, it seems to be some issue with windows and most people just ignore it.

Another thing is to D/L the HiRes pack here...http://www.hitechcreations.com/downloads/download-high-res-srt ... That will help clear yp the fuzzies..

Already have the hires pack, and I have tried all textures. Currently set at 1024. I am also in the middle of re installing my graphics driver so I don't have 3d drivers installed. It may be causing the blurry gages and writing.

found the problem. It was not with the pc. Or the game. Or drivers.

I just bought this used pc 2 days ago from a co worker. I was supper excited as I have been playing on a laptop. The issue was with the apparently old hdmi cable that came with it. After I switched to a vga cable I was running 1920 x 1080 native where as before it was Saying native 1360 x 780. I have a new hdmi cable for the xbox 1, ill try that tommorow. With the Vga  the graphics are crisp and clear. I'm stoked.

Good troubleshooting! I was going to say check your resolution, because of the symptoms. And yes, it was the resolution but in a way that's very hard to diagnose by sitting on the other side of the globe.  :salute
