Title: mic not working

mic not working with new comp.

Looking on HTC homepage for link on how to configure mic that I originally used to set it up...not finding that

hmmm i know i set it up in windows and iirc the page i'm looking for explained how to do that.

In Windows control panel/sound, check that your mic is selected in recording devices. In AH make sure your mic is selected in clipboard preferences/game sounds/microphone.

If you get it working in Windows it is easy.  In the game: Options->Game Sounds.  Make sure the correct device is selected for the "Microphone".  That is it.

You can test it by putting your game ID in the 'V' channel of the radio control bar.  If it is working, it will echo back to you what you transmit.

Each time I log into the game my mic volume settings in game reset to the lowest.  Is there a way to stop this happening as i always forget to reset it and get complaints from other players that they can't hear me?

This would be a nice feature to add to the game. When a player gets muted a certain number of times, their amplitude gets lowered.   :D
