Title: My new ride!
Post by: SilverZ06 on May 16, 2015, 09:59:04 PM
After lusting after a mustang for the last several years (since the 2012's really) I picked this up tonight!  :x

She is a 2015 GT Premium with the performance pack and navigation. I will take better pictures tomorrow as I snapped this one at the dealer tonight. I walked in at 6:45pm and was driving off the lot at 8:10pm. Best dealership experience ever. I'm so excited and can't wait to get out and drive it more tomorrow.

Here is the start button controls along with the controls for driving mode, steering mode, traction control, and hazards.

And the puddle lamp that lights up on the ground when you get in or out:

Glad you hit the trigger, I myself on the fence between getting one or an E Type.  :bhead E type is winning so far.

They never made a Pony car I didnt love. LMAO, my last new one was in 1985 when the 5.0, the last year it was offered, generated 210 HP. Which was a big deal at the time. Mine was Black just like yours is. And now YOUR 5.0 pumps out 435 HP, with 400 lbs of torque. Amazing, just amazing. Were I to buy a Sunday car it would be a GT.

Enjoy your car, every moment in it. The 2015 Mustang GT is a classic automobile.

:rofl I wouldn't know. I can't get my wife out of the drivers seat long enough for me to get a chance to drive it. I drove it half way home from the dealership, we switched vehicles so she could drive it and I got drive it like 10minutes on Sunday morning on the way home from breakfast (she drove it there.) Then she took her mom out shopping in it all day Sunday while I watched our kids at home and she drove it to work today. I'm starting to think we bought her a mustang.  :furious

-quickly looks behind self-

whew...coast is clear she is in other room..... :O

 :D

I actually owned an old 5.0 for a couple days.... it was insanely quick off the line....when I bought the challenger...took the challenger out for a ride...

sold the 5.0 the next day.

just wasn't the same thing, even though it was faster off the line... everything about that Challenger was me...perfectly...

Thanks, Black wasn't even in the top 5 colors I wanted. It was just the only fairly local gt loaded with all the options I wanted at the time. I have always vowed to never own a black car just because of the up keep to keep it clean and not to mention living in Florida where it is hot as hell. However, after staring at the car in my driveway I can't help but absolutely love the black. It just looks so sleek and sexy. I can't wait to get some decent pictures of it.

My top color choices in order were: White, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Red. Black wasn't even on my radar, but I'm glad it's in my driveway!  :aok

I love the challenger also but I like to auto cross and the challenger is just too umm... festively plump. The GT already weighs more than I like but I think it is a better starting platform for auto crossing. Really what sold me on a mustang is the interior. Ford did a phenomenal job on the 2015.

we are all different it would be a very boring world if we were all the same...

I appreciate the new mustangs..... been in a few..... one of my old buddies has an insane one...

I thought the word "snake" was in its name...but this was a few years ago..... :headscratch: he took me for a ride where he let it out a bit...was impressive :aok
