I unwillingly received the "vultures got to eat too" achievement without making any attempt at vulching. Our side captured a base as I was dropping bombs on the VH. Some guy was killed by the auto-ack when the base changed hands (which is dumb, btw) and I got a proxy vulch.
I hereby demand a retraction of this "achievement". Don't let this ruin my perfect, vulch-free record. It's my birthday today for goodness sake. :old:

Never been able to get this achievement. :headscratch:

Have never been close to getting it either. And now this happened. <stamping feet like Herman Munster> "I DON'T WANT IT!!!"

You received this achievement for ONE vulch?
-
Yep. What happened was as I was dive bombing the enemy VH, the base was taken and the auto-ack destroyed a plane that just spawned in. My "vulch" was a proxy from the base changing hands. About the lamest possible way to ruin my vulch-free streak. :bhead

it only takes one. really all you have to do is kill a plane within 30 seconds of it spawning. doesn't matter if you were fighting it on the deck Co E or not which is clearly not a vulch.
actually i got mine when i was deacking a field with rockets the guy just happened to take off and fly near the gun i was rocketing down took out the gun and the guy and got 2 achievements. rocket man for hitting plane with rocket and vultures got eat for the vulch.

It clearly wasn't a vulch because I neither fired a bullet, nor caused a maneuvering kill. The stupid auto-ack (which was friendly when he hit the runway) blew him to bits, 5 seconds after he spawned in. That is the single most ridiculous thing to ever be called a vulch.
