The following two fleets must be defended by the Allies (USN) and attacked by the Axis (IJN):

The following land bases are ALLIED bases:
A24 in sector 11-4-8
A25 in sector 13-3-1

Some questions have been brought up about the land bases in this setup.
My apologies for not being clear about the use of the land bases. They are present simply to give any surviving planes a place to recover if all friendly CVs are sunk. All planes need to be based on, and launch from, a CV.
Defending the land bases is NOT a requirement, though it might be prudent to keep a weather eye out for lurking, would-be vulchers late in the frame. ;)
