That has to be the cleanest B52 I have ever seen.
-
So what are the neutral Swedes doing? Escorting or intercepting? Those Gripens look unarmed.

There is not one original rivet on any of the flying ones today.

Looks great, but under the hood it's full of sweat and old coke. :)

Look at the right wing tips.
Its from a excersice, The B-52:s were practising mine drop over S Sweden. The picture is taken by SwAF and is a pure propaganda picture.

2 other pics from the same day, USMC landing from USS san antonio, Brittish, polish, danish and Swedish ships and forces were involved as well, the B-52s were covering the landing.

Invading Sweden don't take much. ;) (j/k)

As tensions are growing, this one is interesting popped in news today; what if Moon landing conspiracy proves to be true ? i'm sure the Russians know the answer;

He's really becoming irrelevant.

Not sure if I agree with you on that one. If your pilots just fly around without stores on they gain no experience in how the aircraft performs in a combat situation. Put missiles and bombs on a jet and everything changes. Handling, acceleration, speed, climb, range. Small jets like the Gripen even more so. Plus they look toothless. Not a good thing for a combat jet in a "pure propaganda picture".
Israelis know their propaganda stuff.

Much better. They should fly around like that all the time.
-
Their task were prob to intercept any aircraft that were too curious about the exersice, in that case its not desirable to fly around with too much ords.
-
No point in intercepting anyone if you can't do anything about it.
-
Well... As far as i know they didnt ran out of AAM:s.....
Edit: Did some google search and the loadout with a single iris-t is standard for Air-to-air exersices. (apparently to add the sensor of the iris-t).
-
Which is an unrealistic war load. No point of training in airshow mode.

I will send your expert opinion to the SwAF, im sure they will take it seriously.

Yes make sure you do! :old:
