Then it would take 15 troops to take the map room as well.

If u make them slower than the M3 (harder for a truck to go off road) and with no gun maybe.

With our dwindling numbers and the largest maps it would be kind of a nice to have certain additions made to compensate for it.
The suggestion of adding the Studebaker truck is one of these because it can carry more than an m3 and also is faster however has 0 armor and only 1 .50cal if anything

I'd quite like a Studebaker truck with a load of Katyushas.
Little Kate, she is a fierce girl.

Hitech has said that if they ever added anything that carried more than 10 troops he would up the limit on town captures to .atch. so 15 troops in a truck mean 15 troops to capture.

+1
for the Studebaker with all of its towing and load out options

While I'm not opposed to adding any new hardware, there are some practical considerations. These trucks were not nearly as mobile cross country as the halftracks, and were not used in direct assaults. They were used to move troops operationally, not tactically. They were used only on improved surfaces (i.e. roads) for the most part, something not modeled in the game (as I've suggested in an earlier post, I'd love to see terrain affects added to GV movement, in which case +1 on adding trucks).
