Been watching a lot of the weather channel lately and it seems as if the apocalypse is upon much of the country. As far as me in Massachusetts really can't complain, after a brutal winter where we saw record amounts of snow and lots of cold, this spring/summer has been great, if only a tad dry. So whats happening in your neck of the woods?

Watching the weather is a time-honored tradition. the Weather Channel is a bit lackluster, though.

According to the forecast, it is getting quite toasty.

Hot and muggy as hell, with high chance of fires from heat lighting.

-

I stopped watching The Weather Channel years ago. Every thunderstorm was treated like the end of the world. Judging from their website they still market the weather in the same way.
Things have been wet in Ohio but nothing compared to 2011. However so far it has been the coldest year in Ohio since 1980.
-
hopefully everyone part of the forum or really everyone for that matter, has not been affected badly by this crazy weather and has stayed out of harms way
-
Upstate NY seems to think it's England this week (and England apparently thinks it's Florida right now), but that happens for a stretch every summer the past several years.
-
thats pretty amazing, i've been down in florida when the severe showers takeover, like nothing else

It is understandable that they do as most people are really stupid.
Yup the bling is needed, be sure. NOT.

Not too shabby. Do they play that Bob Seger song when she does that? :D
The Weather Channel website has been running these preposterous fear-mongering click bait videos lately. All with some absurd disaster purportedly caused by "climate change". One last week was something to the effect of: "Climate change is causing polar bears to eat dolphins!"

i just lol'd at ur sig, caldera which bob seger song are you refering to

Just had a small tornado and golf ball sized hail go thru a few miles north of me. Looks like work is gonna be insane in the coming weeks (I'm a property adjuster) :bhead

My sig line is not meant to be funny. :(
The song is called "Her Strut". Don't bother with Youtube, they don't have the original version on there. Just a bunch of covers or live recordings.

Look for Weather Nation, its shows what the weather channel used to be years ago. No reality tv, just straight to the point weather and radar

well i'lll just say a small prayer for all those afflicted by this horrible weather :pray
