Been keeping an eye on the forums awaiting any news about the new Alpha. Unfortunately some have taken to attack "Hitech" about the game; I wish to extend my apologies because not all of us "non-subscribers" like me are hanging around just to attack Hitech any chance they get. It's been two years now, (as I explained once before, I didn't spend $500 on thrustmaster warthogs just to be stuck in a crate for 2 years)... but family issues with my father passing kept me from really having any interest in Aces since... And I am getting tired just kicking around old games on Steam, it seems like I always end up coming back to "Aces" before I get burned out, so far this is the 4th time I've done so.
Hopefully by this weekend I can have my Thrustmasters cleaned and fixed; if I can get the trigger fixed I would like to re-subscribe just to get into the thick of things again so I don't look to silly when alpha comes.

Hey Butcher, good to see ya.
HTC policy, as you know, refrains from setting release dates. That said, Hitech & Skuzzy have hinted that alpha is closing in soon. 2 weeks? Lolz
I'm guessing that we'll see alpha before Labor Day. Fingers X-d
:pray :salute

trying too; I actually packed up my Warthogs and shoved them in a storage locker for over a year. Things are quieting down for me now, I had to hire a full time property manager to help take a load off my schedule; it was 80 hour weeks for past 7 months straight, actually took 3 day's off for a vacation in cocoa beach because I was about to flip out.
Going to tear my warthog apart tonight, hopefully I can be on this weekend.

I have given up on this game, down to maybe 1 hour a week and after today don't know when I'll be back. Tired of shooting some GV's 3/4 times with my 34/85 and have them kill me with one shot to the front from a PZ4 and this in not a every now and then thing. Don't think the new (if it ever comes out) update will help. Over the 12 years I've played this there have be some good fights/people in here. Will still check in some to see how things are going and hope HT can turn this around.

Will be interesting to see who's scores go down and which ones go up.

I'm not as interested in the scoring as the overall numbers in the beta arena when it first goes live. I'm hoping, and reasonably certain that a lot of old hands and some newcomers perhaps as well will come out of the woodwork. Hopefully some nights right off the bat where it's full. It wasn't all that long ago when I was saying the "f" word trying to get into orange or blue with each failed attempt, wherever my squad was, and it was full, and I was constantly retrying the entry screen to get that magical "one less" number than max arena capacity to get in.
First world problem, your game is so popular that it's like an oversold airline flight, as opposed to the tumbleweeds that have marked the last few years.
