For those of you who have stutters. Do they go away when you turn ground clutter off?

It is not as obvious, but it is still there.

No, enabled/disabled still experiencing stutters.
-
Not completely. Fr mid 30's and a roll looks like a 57 point turn.
-
I have very minor stutters at low alt, but they disappear when ground clutter is turned off.
-
No stutters here.
-
Disappears here 1024, 2048, 4096.

This.

No. Still stutters at 60 fps with clutter off.
-
Stutters close to the ground. FR mid 30s
-
Yes, the stutters go away with ground clutter off and return when it's enabled again.
I can see the stutters below 300 which also means rolling on the runway goes in leaps or steps. The feeling is like driving a car on a German Autobahn based on concrete slabs: Although the joint isn't visible through the tarmac, the bump can still be felt. A train fare on non-welded rails describes it also quite well.
But yes, for me it's the ground clutter.
-
I took another look and stutters seem to start about 700 ft above ground over terrain. They went away with clutter off in flight except when I was over a large airfield, then I still had stutters .
-
Set all graphics to max quality and upped the fps with vsync on to bog down computer. Turning ground clutter off helps a lot but does not eliminate the stutters.
Stutters for me are worst on the ground in gv and planes and decrease in severity with altitude up to a few hundred feet where it stabilizes but still occurs.
When I adjust graphics until max fps can be maintained during online game play with vsync on, it's smooth as glass.
I just equated the stutter to my system not being able to keep up. AH2 stutters similarly for me with my older computer running HD7750.
-
Yes, turning off ground clutter stops stutter issue.
-
The stutter disappeared once Ive updated my video card drivers from 14.2 omega to the 15.7...
-
Not an expert, but it makes sense to me if your video card GPU is topped out (99%), wouldn't that cause a stutter? Am I wrong?
-

Thanks for the reminder. I forgot to update my dxdiag. I just switched to the 15.7 drivers a few days ago before retesting the stutter.

Stutter continues in GV's no matter what I do with settings. :headscratch:
Stutters are very pronounced during turning of the GV.
-
Stutter is still there. Turning off ground clutter seems to lessen it somewhat. Clipboard on screen also helps. Turning up the anti-aliasing makes it worse.
Current settings are Anti-aliasing off - ground clutter in flight off - if a take off looks stuttery I bring up the clipboard.
:salute

see film
fps jumped up with ground clutter off, but still a stutter.
-
Made, ah films will not show stutters or frame rate issues.
Thanks.

OK, I figured it was a method but oops.....................
I did have the fps and vid mem counter active, also brought up options and enabled/disabled ground clutter to get counter to change......
-
No stuttering in test goal setup
-
New patch, Capture the Flag arena
No stutters in Planes or GV's !!!!!!!!!!! :x
That is still with everything at Max, and a frame rate of 60.

Hedge hopping in a 262 with no issues. running an i7-4770 w/ gtx 770, though.

Capture the Flag arena:
Patch 69 recommended graphic settings for system and game while flying 262 at tree top level near A1 looking out side.
Stutter is still there but small in amplitude. FPS = 66-90 (seems to depend on how dense the trees are)
When extending out over the water at tree top level no stuttering. FPS = 229

Changed video card and no more stutters, with or without clutter. Maybe a driver issue?
