I remember when our summer's used to feel more like the brazilian rainforest rather than the current weather... I'm not complaining I'm just saying.. Still got lots of August to go...

"CLIMATE CHANGE: THE HOAX THAT COSTS US $4 BILLION A DAY"
"The global climate change industry is worth an annual $1.5 trillion, according to Climate Change Business Journal. That’s the equivalent of $4 billion a day spent on vital stuff like carbon trading, biofuels, and wind turbines. Or — as Jo Nova notes — it’s the same amount the world spends every year on online shopping."

i remember amber sunsets with my dad working in the yard when i was a kid, when there was no worry about climate change or global warming... now it's stressing about it everytime the subject comes up

And yet green industries and business created to combat climate change are net job creators after factoring in job loses at dinosaur industries....
And you're insane if you think 98% of the brightest, most competitive people on the planet are in a conspiracy for piddling little research grants when the Koch Bros are handing out millions to say climate change is not happening.
'Liberal' organizations such as the US Navy and Marines have being making plans to deal with climate change for decades because their educate officer class knows what is what.
Keep bending over for the petro and coal interest's lies though. We'll hold you and your like responsible when the bills come due.

Exactly what we've been having over here on this side of the pond. Except of course this is typical of summers on the west coast of Ireland. But most years we at least get a few weeks of hot sunny weather. This year nothing but short spells of sunshine.
Yesterday I brought the kids out for lunch. I made sure they had rain coats. But the sun shone and we were too hot. When we got home I decided to sit out on the decking with a cold drink and a good book. But the cloud came back and I had to go back in. The story of my summer.
As for climate change as in man made climate change. I'm deeply sceptical and cynical about the whole topic. Just because 98% of people believe it to be true doesn't make it true. We humans should have learned that lesson a long time ago.
A lot of people are making a lot of money out of it and I, like the rest of us are paying higher taxes to fund these people. You only have to look into the carbon trading racket to see that.
It may not be a hoax but it sometimes looks like one.

you can tell global warming is occurring because of the polar ice caps melting, hopefully it's a temporary thing and earth starts cooling again before we get swamped on the coasts
