While I am not a GV'er, it seems like this is missing from AH.

Player controlled, to be used for base/HQ resupply (larger payload) no troops.

Give it a minimal/medium perk cost.

Its only defense is the driver's .45 (2 extra clips ?)

Just thought I'd toss the idea out there.

M2 on pass side or an M1919. Should carry troops/GV supps. strength would be speed but low armor kinda like the jeep but carries more troops. Wear armor since they were soft skinned. Troops could be damaged from strafeing if the truck manages to survive the shots.

4 GV sups 1 Base sup or 8 troops NO perk cost.

I think you mean the CCKW (also Studebaker US6) version from the Red Ball Express? It's been asked for before. I have forgotten the details, but if the supplies were adjusted the resupply time would be also, so any effect of the change would be nullified. I would love to see it, but it would actually slow down resupply just a little. The M3 is a faster vehicle.

don't change the re-supp times or the number or troops needed for capture, but make using the truck worth upping buy allowing it to carry 10 troops and 1 base supply box at the same time.  A drivable supply truck needs some reason to be used; can't increase the number of troops or supps carried without increasing the number of troops or supps needed to cap or re-supp a base. As challenge points out, the supply trucks would probably be slower than the M3 halftrack and just as thin skinned as the jeeps are now. So make the reason to use it the ability to carry a mix of 2 out of the 3 items carried by the halftracks and/or jeep.

troop count would change anything. the jeep carries 3 and M3 carries 10...

It should also be able to mount a single .50 caliber machine gun.
