Title: Some field gunnery

I hopped on yesterday and was a wee bit tired so I jumped in a field gun that the enemy was capping. Now I'm not a great shot with the 37mm but it's fun to shoot now and then.

There I was blasting away and hitting nothing even with tracers on. Then a plane comes in from left to right about 1.5 to 2.0k away. I was shooting as he passed by and not hitting but then he dipped his left wing and that was what I hit. I wondered if he thought how could he have hit my left wing, the one away from the field. I would have thought that.

I realize this is nothing extraordinary but yet it stuck with me.

Well done. I hope he complained about getting out of the gun and into a plane, etc. Always laugh about field vulchers complaining about field guns.
