Was late in getting the new tour reset. Did not have time to get the skins release done. Will catch it next tour.

I do hope HTC never loses sight of the effort that goes into artwork that is provided to them at no charge by the AH community.
such an egregious lack of appreciation could have ripple effects that would see said contributions decline in quantity and quality.
this is not a rebuke. it is simply a reminder.
do keep in mind that while the reality of a delay in skins being added to the game that is almost certainly due to circumstances beyond control of the moment it still is demoralizing to skinners who have devoted huge amounts of time that can not be duplicated in a business that has to operate under a time is money constraint when their efforts can stretch into the hundreds of hours or more.

I don't think HTC has lost sight of that, in fact I have been invited to join the official skinning team. So at least as far as I'm concerned, I know that HTC does appreciate my work. Of course, it's the reaction from the player base that really makes the effort worthwhile.
My response in this thread was just voicing my frustration in busting my arse over this past weekend to finish the 3 Emils for this month's FSO. I even skipped the Combat Challenge on Friday to work on them. I also stayed up to 2AM Sunday morning (I had to be up at 7 for work) submitting these skins.

I am sorry we missed the cycle. It will happen from time to time. It is never planned.
No one needs to remind us of the value the skinners bring to the game. We appreciate the efforts of many players who give their time to help make this game what it is today.
It is the reason I made this thread.

Easy bro. They're aware of it. I know it isn't intentional. :salute

That is great news, Congrats Devil505! You do excellent work and will be an asset to that team!

This, not so much. Still, can't wait to see them in game. <S>

This is not a recent event, but thank you. Also, I declined the invitation as I wanted to concentrate on projects of my choosing and at a pace that fits my schedule between work and college.
