CMs - saw a great question asked internal on the Allied side. Didn't see an answer or it posted here yet.
If a plane is cruising NOE ( below 200' ) and pitches up and breaks the 200' alt for a moment and the drops back down. Does the Bar Dar show that contact immediately or with a 4 min delay with a "flash" and then gone?

"Sector Radar ("bar dar"): RAF only, altitude 200 feet and up, 4 minute update"
I had the same question during the planning of Frame 1. I never really got a definitive answer but my interpretation was it would be just like in the MAs EXCEPT there is a four minute delay on the reporting of the blip. Therefore, the blip could be off a full sector by the time it appears as we've seen in other scenarios.
Now the real question I had but could never really get an answer on... how long is that low-level attack bar on the map?
A) Four minutes until the next radar cycle
B) Just the 1.5 seconds the pilot is above 200' with a four minute delay
C) Some other combination

This is my best guess - and can be tested in a custom arena if anyone wants to...
The radar routine might cache what should be shown, and then update the map at the programmed interval. So if someone momentarily pops over the radar floor during the delay, it very well might throw a darbar when the radar is refreshed - which would then remain visible until the next refresh.
It probably works this way in the MA, but because it's only a 2-second delay, it might seem "instant".
