Havent found any English sites reporting it yet but a tiny little moutnain (120.000-180.000 cu meters of rock...) its moving 5-6 cm a day now, they expect it to come down very soon....

Global warming has a little to do with with the speed of it but its mostly natural erosion. It just happens faster when there is more rain and more water that freezes in the cracks than when it was more snow in the winter.
Hope the bloody thing falls soon anyway and im sure those who live below it thinks so too. Must be better to get it down than living year in and out under it just waiting.

There was a nature show on the TV lately and they talked about the disaster that would occur if there was a giant landslide into a fjord.
Any settlement up the fjord from the slide would be obliterated from the tsunami created by the slide.
