Neato. All those planes were built by me. In my youth, plastic, balsa wood, wish I'd save a few.
X-15 is my 2nd favor plane (Rocket) behind the B-47 since age...umm, about 4!
Rocket geek too. Circa 1973. I'm pretty sure that was a #3 size Tupperware bowl hair cut. Dad was cheap. Plaid pants are coming back!

George Welch a native of my home town. One of these days it's on my list to do a P-38 of his. He also flew with the 80th. The P-40 he flew on Dec. 7th would also be a good choice.
