Anyone have some sweet gunsights or know any other forum areas their might be some on? Thanks gents

Ask bustr. He's made a bunch of historical gunsights for the game.

Note too AH Alpha has the historical gun sights for each plane as default albeit the AH alpha gun sights are not compatible with AH if I remember right. Bustr is the man to see for first hand information.
The historical rocket ladder for the P-38L is my favorite.
Another is a players made up sight for the P-51
All are in Bustrs historical gunsight package for AH.

Personal preference mostly. I always found the historical ones to be too much clutter, I much prefer the dot 'o death.

Dot 'o death is the best...... :old:

Still it is neat to see what a WW2 pilot might have seen. Bustr's WW2 gunnery manuals show you how to use these sights.
A lot of the historical sights just a mil circle and a dot. If you do heavy fighter work the rocket ladders are the way to go.

if anyone has a p51 gunsight witha bomb and rocket marker on it can u email to jordanh.business@gmail.com

Download the full alpha and install it. Then rename the AH2 "sights" directory and copy the alpha directory "sights" into your AH2 directory tree to replace the renamed folder. Then all aircraft will have their historic gunsight associated to them. Right down to the evil Brewster and the Aussi spit8.
Or,
Pick and choose the ones you want and copy over the "gunsight.bmp" and it's "gunsight.mil" control file.
All of the gunsights begin with a country 2 or 3 letter designator.
Example:
deRevi16.bmp
ukMKII.bmp
auJ178.bmp <--- evil Aussi gunsight
There is even a dot and a tiny cross which were the only ones of their kind used in ww2.
N9 or K14A with rocket aid is one of two and remember you have to send him the mil files along with the bmp.
usaN9Mk8rkt.bmp ----- usaN9Mk8rkt.mil
usaK14rkt.bmp ----- usaK14rkt.mil

Thanks bustr, used to have a bunch of nice gunsights but due to getting a new comp, they were lost.
