I deal with the states daily and the reason the Chinese are out performing the states because US business is play acting.

Kodak,opex and Burroughs etc are too busy making coin out investing stock in chinese pencil sharpening manfacturers.

Young technology workers (who earn close to the same salaries in Beijing as Silicon Valley developers now) are unmotivated to work. If they aren't treated with kid gloves, they quit.

Their parents and grandparents will support the spoiled little brats with the same income, without them having to work.
