Title: Insert files other than images into posts

I wish there were a way in which I could attach files (pdf, xl, doc etc) to bulletin board posts.

There's an "Attachments and other options" link, but I can't find how to attach.

Attachments are turned off for most of the AH forums.

The problem is you need to put the files you want to share on the web, somewhere, then post links to them.

I use dropbox for a lot of large file transfers.  2GB storage is free

So you could post a link to a folder of files like this:https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qjyrwef1jev2q9q/AACR5VoT9fChgLww8_KGeS_ua?dl=0 (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qjyrwef1jev2q9q/AACR5VoT9fChgLww8_KGeS_ua?dl=0)

Or to a single file like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o7ttstl1za02p0u/Fire%20in%20the%20Sky.doc?dl=0 (https://www.dropbox.com/s/o7ttstl1za02p0u/Fire%20in%20the%20Sky.doc?dl=0)

There are forums which allow attachments.  There are some which do not.

If HTC had allowed this starting day one of rolling out this BBS. All the agonizing decisions Skuzzy would have been put to over the years.

The BBS just went down and, and, and the drive storing all 10 Trillion gaziilion bites of player personal garbage went with it.
