Title: What is happening with AH lately?

It's been since July that I've been gone from the game, and it was pretty fun for the time I've been playing it. Now I come back, and all of a sudden I'm hit with people getting banned, AH players hospitalized, this that, locks and unlocks....like *insert Hurricane meme here*

In all seriousness though, what happened with AH since the summer? I'm kinda worried its getting worse as time goes onward.

As some folks get older, they get less mature?
Society is breeding a new generation of entitled people who think they can behave however they want?
A vocal minority of players have grown bored and try to find "creative" ways to entertain themselves?
Lots of people are eagerly awaiting AH3?
