Almost every animal humans commonly eat is genetically modified. As is almost every plant we eat.

Why are you afraid of genetically modified foods? What specific harm are you worried about?
Wild salmon is not healthier than farm raised salmon either. They have the same ratios of pollutants (some farmed salmon actually have a lower ratio). The fact that farmed salmon have a higher fat content and thus a higher total content of pollutants made the news several years ago. It alarmed a lot of the people. But that's why we eat salmon, for the fat (Omega 3 fatty acids).

What Karnak said. This has been going on ever since humans began cultivating crops and husbanding animals. It is just less haphazard at this time.

Then they mate with natural fish and natural no longer exists. And we all get cancer from fish that used to be safe. Then a virus kills all the fish that have no immunity and the great fish kill depletes oxygen in the ocean killing more fish and uncontrollable anaerobic algae bloom consumes the now dead ocean releasing a catastrophic amount sulfer dioxide and methane causing the atmospheric pH to drop to a significant level that all foliage is "melted" in three months time leading to worldwide famine nuclear war and global cooking.
