AH3 will require you to make an fmod bank to use your custom sounds:

I haven't tried it out yet, but it doesn't look too hard.  Looks mainly like all the sounds will need converting.  Time consuming, but doesn't look too bad.

Might be premature to go off and start doing this.  We are still in Alpha.  Still trying things.  Best to wait until Beta before spending time on this.

I thought that I should update this thread, since HiTech added loads of useful info about making new sounds. 

There maybe some way to convert sounds in the future, but it seems that most would benefit from a fresh start with fmod projects.

Just my two cents.
