Yes I know, worn out subject but one of the reasons I quit this game many years ago and I came back to try it out again.. First thing I noticed was a big drop in numbers, ya I remember when you couldnt get in the servers, now one doesnt even fill, one reason I am sure is spies, yep caught them red handed at 4:00am eastern time., I was on a bomber run, waaayyy down south 2 squares away from target, over the bloody ocean no where near a radar or land, B-17s at 13 thousand still half a square away, Xed out to get speed right and line up when whammm P-38 takes me out from a dive, he had to at least come down from 15K, up and yep 2 and 3 gone, he lands them, his name is AKAK, not 10 seconds after the 3 kills are landed a salute from ROX, ya guess what country the spy was from, uh huh you guessed it....\
There is no way this guy was tooling around at that alt (there were only 22 people on) and caught me coming in from the ocean, I hadnt even set off the field yet and he "found" me in the middle of nowhere, uh huh, just a lucky guess--------- :furious
So if you wonder why the numbers are getting low --thank dirt bag spies, they are a good part of the reason..........

So I guess you don't know what dar bars are......

Nuff said. But I must add that Akak and Rox are two of the most absolute opposite examples of what you "rushed" to judgement to report on. The salutes in this game most often show mutual respect and even fondness for challenging encounters.

Why not inform him instead of make fun of him?

Because the OP came in grumping and slinging cheating accusations rather than asking for information would be a good place to start.
But just for grins, 8trgtdrone8, here is how he found you:
When enemy planes get above 75 feet AGL, there is a red bar that appears in the top left of the sector they are in, that informs the other side that there is enemy aircraft in that sector. There is also a green one that shows above it, that shows that there are friendly aircraft in that sector as well. These bars are commonly referred to as "bar dar". Important note- You do NOT see your own bar dar. In other words, if you are the only friendly in a sector, you will not see the bar at the top left that the enemy would be showing. You will only see green bar dar if there is another friendly in your sector.
So what that means is, Ack would have been able to see the bar dar you were generating as soon as your plane got above 75 feet above the ground. He then would have been able to make an educated guess on which field you were headed towards and climb to alt to set up to be in that area. As your bar dar moved across sectors, he could refine his search based on what parts of those sectors you're headed through without setting off radar. If he caught you just outside of his radar, it's likely because the way the radar circle covers the sector means there was a limited area you could be in, making his job easier, and he had just set up there knowing you'd have to go through there.
Another possibility is that his side had a friendly CV whose radar you flew through, showing him a dot to follow, but you didn't get within AAA distance of it to notice it.
No magic, no cheating, just understanding the mechanics of the game.

In my experience on here, it's pretty rare to change someone's mind once they get the notion of spiez in their head.
