Title: Got my stripes put on the mustang

Finally got the stripes installed to give the car a little pop. The main stripes and the rocker stripes are matte charcoal and the pin stripes are burnt orange. I think it came out great and I am very happy with it. What do you think?

Thank you all. I'm very happy with the end result. I have a set of 1" lowering springs coming and then I will be done with the look of the car. Then it will be all suspension components and tires to get this thing kicking more butt at the auto crosses. I really do love this car. Ford really knocked it out of the park. :rock

Just that hood ... I don't like it. I have yet to find an aftermarket one I liked.

Looks great man - except for that Buccaneer plate..LOL.
Seriously, great looking mustang. My kid is trying to get me to lower my Shelby but I just can't do it. They look great but cannot negotiate a speed bump after the intall

It is only a 1" drop but I will have to be very mindful of the front splitter. Right now it clears parking curbs by about 1/4". Looks like I'll be backing in everywhere I can and hanging my back end out of a spot a little. :eek:

Looking at the stang I cant help but think a matching orange stripe on the rim lip would,IMHO,make it look off the hook!
I just cant see any other place to do a pinstripe on the side that would look right,but the rim lip....ah that might just be sweet!

Great minds think alike. I was actually talking to guy that installed my stripes about getting a burnt orange pin stripe around the lip of the wheels. :aok

You didn't want to put GT350 handling stuff on it? Seems like they did it right:
A good whitening toothpaste to go a long with that permagrin after installing the aforementioned
If I were going blower I'd opt for a Whipple or KB before Roush. My original plans were a set of twin turbos but honestly after taking my car to the autoX I think I'm going to leave the engine alone. The car was plenty fast and fairly balanced. I was beating up on cars that should have smoked me. I'm just going to get the suspension and tires done and when I finally feel I can't get any more out of my car then I will think about adding more power. I have long long way to go before I can even get the most out of the car currently. Adding more power will only make it worse. You should have seen my permagrin after the autoX. :D
