Title: taking off from hanger issue many planes
Post by: syko on December 03, 2015, 07:57:13 AM
I noticed when I try to take off in a hanger in a La7  it damages the plane -  rudders,  stabs,  tail wheel, and elevators.

Are you using a slider to zoom, or keyboard/joystick tied to views?

There is a new default forward view which is slightly down. You can return your forward view to AH2 standard by hitting HOME then saving your view.

With the 80 degree FOV and the default view tilted down you might want to try the over the nose view mapped to KP8. You can set this view to your hat and also  adjust this view to the gunsight. Using your up modifier with the hat forward view will still give you the front/up view. For the same views as AH reset the default view as Bustr suggested and set FOV to 106.

I'm using the Z button and bracket keys.

The Home key will center the gunsight in the default view. If you have a notebook PC you may need to use a function key with the Home key.

Syko,

There is a new option that allows the player to save head tilt with the forward cockpit view.  This helped to see the instruments when POV was short (as in default setup).  Any custom head positions created after the default will override that default head tilt.  The Home key will place the forward view without the head tilt IIRC (as it does in current AH2).
